It is required of all members to attend the meetings. Meetings are generally held on every other Tuesday.
2009 Autumn Quarter Meeting Schedule
· September 21st 12-4pm on the Oval, INVOLVEMENT FAIR for potential members
· September 22nd 6:30 in Meeting Room #3 at RPAC, New Member Meeting
· September 22nd 7:30 in Meeting Room #3 at RPAC, for returning members
· October 6th 7:30 in Meeting Room #2 at RPAC
· October 20th 7:30 in Meeting Room #2 at RPAC, Mandatory!
· November 3rd 7:30 in Meeting Room #2 at RPAC
· November 17th 7:30 in Meeting Room #2 at RPAC
An important part of lessons is your turn out. It is expected of all riders to show up to lessons wearing a properly fitted top or jacket (no T-shirts or overly puffy jackets so coach can judge your position), breeches or jeans, tall boots or half chaps or full chaps with correct riding boots, a properly fitted helmet, and hair done in a hairnet. The week of a show, all riders are expected to be turned out in breeches, tall boots, and a polo.
OSHET participates in multiple shows throughout the year that lead up to the Region, Zone, and National Finals. Hunt Seat shows last a weekend with each day counting as a separate show.
