COMMUNITY SERVICE
As college students, we are expected to take on leadership roles in our community. Our team takes pride in being active participants in numerous community services. We are active volunteers at the Capital Area Humane Society where we assist with walking dogs, socializing with the cats, and aid in other shelter needs. Most of the team members go to this humane society at least once a week in order to help. The second organization that our team helps to support is the local safe house for runaway youths at the Huckleberry House in Columbus. There, we conduct clothing drives to give to the many youths there, as well as collect specific items that the agency needs including much needed hygiene products. We encourage our riders to help the community that surrounds them.

FUNDRAISING
The Ohio State Hunt Seat Equestrian Team is in constant need of funds in order to support our numerous expenses. We participate and hold many projects in order to raise the money. A key means of funds is through the campus-wide litter clean-up program ran by The Ohio State University. This entails that once a week team members spend time picking up litter around a specific section of the campus. Not only does this enable us to raise money for our team, but this also enables us to give back to the university and keep the campus, that we all use, clean and beautiful!
Keep a look out for our future fundraising projects!
