LIBERTY FARM
The Ohio State Equestrian Hunt Seat Team bases itself out of Liberty Farm in Columbus, Ohio. This facility is about a 15 minute drive from the campus. The team is trained by Blain Newsome and Kathy Osborn on numerous lesson horses for any level rider. Lessons cost $360 per quarter, approximately $36 per lesson. For additional riding practice, there are plenty of leasing options as well as volunteering opportunities in exchange for hacks.

Kathy Osborn
Team Manager
Kathy is the proprietor, head instructor, and founder of Liberty Farm. She gained her first experiences from a successful junior career on the USEF "A" Circuit and qualified for all 3 national finals during her last two junior years including placing thirteenth at the U.S.E.T. National Talent Search Finals. Kathy was a working student for some of the country's prominent professionals and progressed to competing on the Grand Prix level. Many of her students have won state titles and championships at some of the nation's largest horse shows. Kathy founded Liberty Farm in 1990 after earning a BS from The Ohio State University.
